Why KODI TV box matters?

Netflix does not ban users for accessing from a different location, whether you're traveling or using a VPN. However, they do block content if they detect VPNs or proxies to enforce their geographic licensing agreements. If you want to access your home content library while abroad, using a VPN that can bypass Netflix’s detection can help, though not all VPNs work for this purpose.

Mobile phone and laptop are known to have access problem even though a VPN connection is established - GPS data and cookies can compromise your location even if you're using a VPN, as they can reveal your actual geographic location independent of your IP address.
